A really cool old fashioned store with all sorts of memorabilia and photos from the past 100+ years in business. Visited for the first time and met the owners who could not be more welcoming. They took the time to explain the products and help us make choices. Large selection of fresh roasted coffee plus all sorts of teas. Recommend the dark roast for Espresso and Breakfast Blend. The aroma in the shop is like opening a fresh bag of coffee. Check it out

Best coffee roaster I've been to in Virginia. You can get whole bean or ground and the price is cheaper than buying from the grocery store chains. The shop is family ran and always friendly.

Wow. What a beautiful, quaint shop! I came here looking for a variety of loose leaf teas and this place did not disappoint. The owner proudly told me how this establishment has been around for over 100 years. Amazing. If you are looking for a variety of coffees, I would highly suggest coming here. I only purchased their tea today but I will be back to grab a bag of coffee beans to grind for my French press (I just happen to love tea more lol). Speaking on the tea, so far I have had the almond and their relaxation blend. Very delicious, very fresh. Instead of supporting these faceless coffee chains that I won't bother naming, buy and support your local coffee roasters right here in HR. I'll definitely venture back here!

We had a great time here. Small locally owned shop. A great place to just take in the smells and the rustic look of aged equipment. The owners were very nice, giving out free cookies and being there to help with anything. Quick to start up a conversation and very polite. The teas are plentiful and come in bins that give thorough directions and suggestions on how to prepare the tea and what it goes well with.

I've been going here for a while ... umm ... maybe 10 years or more. Simply the best! The down side is that coffee from any place else, e.g., restaurants ... always seem lacking. I love this place!!
